External Fire Safety Officer in Tyrol

Self-inspections, fire safety log, inspection deadlines? We take on the role of fire safety officer and sprinkler attendant for your company, so that inspections, deadlines and documentation run without gaps.

Fire protection does not end with acceptance

Once your building is approved and in operation, operational fire protection begins: fire safety equipment has to be checked regularly, defects remedied and staff instructed. The building or plant permit often requires a fire safety officer for this, and the duties are defined in the Austrian TRVB 117 O. We take on this role as an external service, without you having to train and release your own staff for it.

Good to know

We often already know your building from the fire protection planning. Together we keep fire protection as up to date as it was on the day of acceptance.

Who it is for

For industry, hotels and commercial buildings

Frequently asked questions

Fire safety officer in brief

When does a company need a fire safety officer?

The obligation usually follows from the building or plant permit, for example for industrial buildings, hotels or larger workplaces. We are happy to check in the first meeting, based on your permit, whether and to what extent this applies to your company.

What are the duties of a fire safety officer?

According to TRVB 117 O, the fire safety officer carries out fire safety self-inspections, keeps the fire safety log, prepares the fire safety regulations, instructs staff and makes sure fire safety equipment is inspected and maintained on time.

Can the fire safety officer be external?

Yes. We provide the fire safety officer and the sprinkler attendant as an external service. This is particularly useful when nobody in the company has the training or the role is vacant after a change of staff.

What does a sprinkler attendant do?

The sprinkler attendant makes sure the sprinkler system is ready for operation at all times: regular checks according to TRVB 127 S, documentation and coordination with the maintenance company. We can take on both roles together.

What does an external fire safety officer cost?

That depends on the size and use of your building and the amount of fire safety equipment. After an initial site visit you receive a quote that fits your company.
